The third meeting of the ELFIE project took place on the 23rd and 24th of October, 2014 in Rzeszów (Poland). The hosting organization was DC Center. All the partners representatives attended the meeting.
Main meeting objectives were to review First year evaluation, coordination of the Follow-up system pilot last activities, preparatory work for the E-Learning patterns/resources production, at the end of the year.

Due to last minute agenda problems, the project responsible from DC Center (PL) was not able to attend the meeting. A preparatory on-line meeting was carried out, with project coordinator in order to share all the information and proposals, and to confirm the initial agreement.

The meeting started with some presentations performed by DC-Center, with regional and cultural information about Rzeszów and the “Aviation Valley”. Rzeszów is the “Capital City of Innovation”.

The first Evaluation Report and its main results were presented and the most relevant findings were commented. Bearing this in mind, a review was made of work planned for the rest of the project, with specific focus on the deliverables up to the end of 2014.

The work done around the Follow-up system (TDI) was presented. The pilot test on the tool was being carried out and the last arrangements for finishing the pilot test, and getting feedback from the participants, were agreed. This feedback will be included in a further version of OUTCOME 6 document.

The main product from ELFIE will be a set of, what has been called, E-Learning Patterns/Resources to be selected/developed by the end of 2014. During the meeting, in order to identify the inputs for this task, it was agreed to extract the main conclussions from the initial SWOT analysis, and to produce a list with a small set of the main 'positive' aspects which give more quality to a given resource, as discovered with the SWOT analysis. Let's call this element the "ELFIE E-Learning guidelines".

When producing our resources the following elements will be taken into account:Original Heidelberg

  • The Guidelines, by the identification of which ones each resource take into account or it is oriented to.
  • The Examples compiled in the different countries in a previous phase of the project.
  • The active Methodologies applicable to/used by the resource (Mainly for learning resources). As an special item, if "Multiple Intelligences" methodology is used and to which kind of "Intelligence" is oriented.

During the meeting, there was agreed the structure of a Template to be used when designing and/or documenting the ELFIE E-Learning patterns.

Also, each partner showed what could be its seleccion of resources to be included in the ELFIE E-Learning Patterns (Outcome 7).

Besides, the partners made a first approach to contents and task sharing for the outcomes planned by 2015.

At the end of the meeting each partner commented briefly some other projects that could bring ideas for further synergy and collaboration.
